Carmel School, Bhadrak, was established in the year 2000 by the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel (CMC). CMC is a religious and charitable association of a religious minority group within the purview of the Constitution of India. It is a Co-Ed. English medium School that follows the educational philosophy of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel. The school was started in a rented building at By-pass mainly to serve the rural section of Bhadrak. The school was shifted to a magnificent building in a sprawling campus in pollution Activity environment at Ichhapur. Slowly and steadily the school was progressed and expanded in its endeavour of meeting the educational requirements of the community. The School got affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations Delhi in 2009. From its humble origin with 8 students, the school has grown to a full-fledged institution and today, it is regarded as one of the premier institutions of Bhadrak, providing quality education to the students of Bhadrak. The school has acquired a unique system of motivation and self-discipline and is well known for a sound character formation and quest for excellence. The school has a legacy of excellence in curricular and co-curricular fields and it is marching forward achieving accolades and winning laurels in various spheres.
